Cranberry Chutney with Orange and Crystallized Ginger
makes 1 ⅓ cups

Cranberry ChutneyIngredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup matchstick-cut crystallized ginger
  • 4 cups (1 12-ounce bag) fresh cranberries


Bring the water, sugar, and salt to a boil in a medium saucepot over medium-high heat.  Add the rest of the ingredients, and simmer on low to medium-low for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.  Serve warm or room temperature, with turkey, on turkey burgers, or even in turkey meatloaf.
